PRESIDENT’S NOTE

Happy Spring!

Happy Spring, everyone! As the weather turns nicer, I’m looking forward to more time outdoors, including some great AK Connection events - be sure to check them out below.

We had a fantastic turnout for Ed Popropski’s show at Bryant Lake Theater in March. Even though it was my 3rd time seeing his show, I heard some new jokes and thought the show was amazing. Ed has welcomed anyone to contact him if you ever travel to NYC.

Finally, one of our goals this year is to get back into the swing of things and bring you fun and interesting events. That's why we have decided against having any formal membership drive or fundraising effort in 2024. If you'd like to contribute financially, you can always donate on our website or via the donate button at the bottom of the newsletter. We appreciate everyone’s support, whether that's through donating, attending an event, following us on social media, or telling your friends about AK Connection.

-David Moschkau, AKC President

WHAT'S NEW

March Event Recap

We appreciate everyone who joined us at Bryant Lake Theater to watch Ed Popropski’s show Case 84: Adopted in the U.S.A. on March 23! With your help, Ed was able to sell out the entire theater and it was truly special to enjoy his performance among so many other Korean adoptees.

Korean Adoptee Maker & Artist Showcase

Calling all Korean adoptee artists, makers, performers and other creatives! AK Connection is considering hosting a winter artist showcase and market to highlight your talents, skills and products. If you’re interested in being part of the showcase, email [email protected].
