AK Connection hosts social dinners at various restaurant around the metro area. This is a time where adoptees can meet informally for socializing and food.

The AK Connection Red Devils participate in seasonal sporting leagues through out the season.

IKAA stands for: International Korean Adoptee Associations. IKAA held it's recent large-scale gathering in Seoul, South Korea in 2007. Over 550 adopted Korean adults from around the globe came together. Minnesota-raised/based adoptees were strongly represented.

AK Connection hosted an event with contributors from the book on transracial adoption titled "Outsiders Within".

AK Connection hosted a happy hour event at the FineLine night club. The two bands featured were Watching Leona and headliner Elephine lead by Korean adoptee Mayda Miller.

AK Connection celebrated it's five year anniversary by hosting a part at the Lounge night club in November 2005.

AK Connection hosted its annual party at Azia restaurant, it showcased Korean adoptee singer Kimberly Michaels and her band.
