PRESIDENT'S NOTE

What's ahead for summer

It’s hard to believe that next week is Memorial Day which marks the beginning of summer in Minnesota. To take advantage of the beautiful weather, we have some exciting outdoor events coming up. You can keep an eye out for new events and social get-togethers by following us on Instagram, joining our Facebook group or subscribing to our monthly newsletter.

I really enjoyed our Children’s Day event earlier this month, especially seeing so many little ones doing arts and crafts, trying to fly the kites they built and decorated, making new friends and playing nicely on the playground. And, of course, it was great to see the amazing KAD parents we have! Thank you all who made it out.

Next up, we’re excited to invite you to play pickleball with us in June. Please sign up soon as there is a limit to how many can participate. Whether you want to learn how to play or you want to show off your athletic prowess, we hope to see you on the courts next month!

-David Moschkau, AKC President
