Our recent events: AK Connection partnered with Land of Gazillion Adoptees and AdopSource at the 2012 Minnesota Transracial Film Festival in November (left), went Snow Tubing at Buck Hill (center) and ate Korean Food at Hoban in Eagan (right).

Join us for a beginner adult drum class. No music experience necessary! Brooke Newmaster will lead a fun class that will introduce you to the four Samulnori instruments: Janggu (hourglass drum), Buk (barrel drum), Gwanggari (small gong), and the Jing (large gong).

IKAA Gathering 2013 Registration Raffle
More great news is coming our way for the 2013 Seoul Gathering!
Also-Known-As, Inc. (AKA, New York, New York) received a $1000 grant from the Korean Consulate General in New York to be used to support adoptees across the United States to attend the gathering. They will be sharing these funds with the US organizations by allowing us to raffle the amount for one registration ($200) to a member of that organization. This is an exclusive offering from AKA to the IKAA US Member Organizations. And AK Connection just happens to be one of those member organizations!
*Note: Board members and IKAA Representatives are NOT eligible.
To be eligible for the ALDC-IKAA registration raffle, you must qualify with the following prerequisites:
- Must be registered AND paid in full for the Gathering **BY MARCH 24**, early bird registration deadline
- Minnesota resident
- Must be a 2013 paid member. Become a member here: Membership
If you are hereby eligible, please email akconnection.mn@gmail.com so we can add your name to the raffle. THE RAFFLE WILL BE HELD ON MARCH 25. The winner will then sign a stipend agreement with AKA and thereafter be reimbursed their registration amount.
This includes those that have already registered.
